This page provides directions and information for individual and team registration for the TacMed Seminar (TS) and National TacMed Championships (NTC) that will be held in conjunction with the USNSC.

Both individuals and teams may register to attend the TacMed Seminar. There is no requirement to attend the Seminar to register for the NTC (with the exception of attending the weapons training portion as a weapons familiarization requirement). Teams that register for the NTC may attend the TacMed Seminar without charge, but must indicate their intentions on the registration form. Individual fee for the TacMed Seminar is S150. The Team fee for the National TacMed Championships is $300. The same form is used for both individual and team registration.

Eligibility

The TacMed Seminar and is open to any certified TEMS provider (EMT, Paramedic, Nurse, NP, MD) who is affiliated with a tactical unit.

The National TacMed Championship requires a two-man team. Both team members must currently assigned to support, or members of, the same law enforcement tactical unit. Teams may be from any level of law enforcement: local, state or federal. At least one team member must be a certified medic (any level: EMT, PM, Nurse, NP, MD). Teams consist of one medic and one SWAT officer or two medics. Two non-medical officers are not permitted. Teams that violate the eligibility requirements will be disqualified and not permitted to attend the TS or compete in the NTC.

If you have questions on your eligibility please contact the USNSC.

Team Requirements
A Captain must be designated for each team. The Captain will be the sole point of contact (POC) and spokesperson for the team. Only two people will be recognized as part of a team.
Individuals/teams are required to bring their own individual tactical equipment and may bring their own weapons to training. Each person is responsible for their own ammunition. The ammo requirement for training and the competition will be communicated to teams following their registration. The USNSC will have weapons for un-armed teams for training if coordinated prior to arrival, however it is highly recommended each individual officer bring their own pistol and carbine for use during weapons training.

All team equipment, expendable medical supplies, and weapons for the competition will be provided by the USNSC. Individual/team/unit weapons are not permitted in the NTC.
