Eligibility
Any law enforcement agency (federal, state, local) that has powers of arrest in its jurisdiction may enter a team. This includes federal DEA, DOE, ATF, DOC, military and police unit SWAT, SORT, HBT, ERT, special security and tactical teams. All-Star teams (teams made up of individuals from multiple jurisdictions not normally operational together), civilian composite groups (civilian security companies, bodyguard companies, professional marksmen, sporting groups, etc.), regular military units (Infantry, SOF, Seals, etc.) are not eligible to compete. Teams found to be in violation of this rule will be immediately disqualified and required to return any awards and/or prizes they received. Team captains must certify all of their team members meet eligibility requirements at registration. If you have questions on eligibility please contact us. Teams who compete with an ineligible team member or who violate the team “jurisdiction and sworn officer” rules will be disqualified and the team fee will be forfeited.
Team Requirements
Teams must be composed of a minimum of 6 (maximum of 10) sworn law enforcement officers from the same jurisdiction. A Team Captain must be designated for each team. He/she does not have to be a competitor, but may be. The Captain will be the sole point of contact (POC) and spokesperson for the team. Only ten people will be recognized as part of an "official" team. All team members must be sworn law enforcement officers and/or have policing powers within their respective jurisdictions.
