Media Information

The US National SWAT Championships (USNSC) encourages media coverage by accredited organizations. Media outlets that wish to cover the events and competition comprising the USNSC must submit a request for accreditation to the USNSC organizing committee. A Press Credentials Request Form can be downloaded and submitted by fax to USNSC (480-807-4179). Click here to download.

The following are the general rules that all press must agree to in order to receive credentials:

  • 1. All press personnel must have approved press credentials before they will be permitted to enter the USNSC venue to conduct press coverage
  • 2. All Media must check in with the USNSC Operations center when they arrive on site to obtain their press credentials
  • 3. All press personnel on-site will abide by the rules of conduct and safety of the Highlands Ranch Law Enforcement Training Center and USNSC
  • 4. Press and media personnel must agree to request permission from all subjects before they attempt to interview them or take their picture and agree to respect any individual’s right to decline to speak with the press or have their photo taken and/or published
  • 5. All members of the coverage team must sign a USNSC Press Waiver form accepting responsibility for their own safety and absolving USNSC, The Highlands Ranch Law Enforcement Training Center and Douglas County from all liability in the event of death or injury.
